Pory.io: Transforming AirTable Spreadsheets into Searchable Content Library
How I use Pory
I use Pory to manage a Template and Guides Membership, where I offer resources for tools like Canva templates and Systeme.io templates.
Here’s how it works:
Content Management in Airtable: Each template is cataloged with descriptions, title, link to a specific resource, and a thumbnail.
Pory Integration: Airtable data is pulled into Pory, turning it into a searchable directory that is visually appealing and easy to use.
Embedding in Systeme.io: Pory directories are embedded directly into my membership area, which is password protected (only visible to customers who have access).
The result?
A seamless user experience where members can easily find and access resources.
While the setup is a bit complex, the final product is polished, functional, and for me - worth the effort and recurring costs.

Pory: Transforming AirTable Spreadsheets into Searchable Content Library
Pory is a tool I use to enhance the customer experience inside my Templates & Guides Membership, as part of my DCT Plus membership.
This membership has 100s of templates: email templates, systeme.io templates, email templates, digital guides, etc.
With Systeme.io, I can have an online course with video, text, audio, images, and more.
But there is no way to create a searchable content library.
Which is where Pory comes in (alongside AirTable) to help me fix that problem.
Searchable Content Library
Since I have 100s of templates, I needed a way for people to be able to search and find them easily.
Had I just created templates as individual lessons, the library will just become bigger and bigger as it grows and thus harder to use.
So I needed a way to take these templates and turn them into a searchavle content library.
Below is what my Searchable Content Library of templates looks like visually.
But what is inside the lesson in the editor of Systeme.io, is just a raw HTML code element which has the my Pory embed.
I personally pay $18/month for Pory to be able to do that (joined when the price was lower).
My templates are all created on systeme.io blog pages which are not searchable or discoverable by Google. (they are hidden from the search engines).
These blog pages are listed on an AirTable grid.
My AirTable grid is connected to Pory.
With the Pory features, I can organize the information in the AirTable spreadsheet to be searchable.
Pory gives me the embed code to put it on any website.
It could work on any tool that let's you embed HTML codes.
Does not have to be Systeme.io.
It just happens to be what I am using.
But it will work the same way if you are using WordPress or Squarespace or any other website tool as long as you can embed HTML code.

My Pory Back story
Throughout my journey online, I am always curious about people's funnels, websites, businesses, etc.
If I recall correctly, I saw a Facebook Ad and clicked on it.
I ended up downloading some Canva element library and everything there was searchable.
At the time, I was scheming my membership launch for a Templates membership.
When I saw the user-experience of the Canva elements membership I reached out to the owner.
He told me he was using Pory (which I never heard up until that point).
I went in and played with it myself and saw how it works on a high level.
I paid for the other Canva elements membership (it was a founding member one-time fee) and asked the owner to hop on a Zoom call and walk me through setting this up.
I offered to pay for the call in exchange for him walking me through setting up the whole thing from A to Z. (or at least enough so the foundations are in place and I can finish it off).
We did exactly that and with his permission, I got a copy of the recording too - to be used as a digital product as one of my Dot Com Truths Workshops.
Who is Pory for?
Pory is best suited for:
Membership Site Owners: Ideal for showcasing resources like templates, guides, or other content in a searchable format.
Business Professionals: Perfect for creating job boards or directories of team members and resources.
Small Business Owners: Those using tools like Airtable to organize content and want a visually appealing way to organize things.
However, Pory’s specific use case means it might not be necessary unless you need a searchable directory feature.
Why is Pory important?
For me, Pory fills a gap for creating organized and searchable content library for my 100s of Templates & Guides in the membership.
Platforms like WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Kajabi and Systeme.io, which lack a built-in searchable library, can leverage Pory through its embed functionality.
This combination improves user experience by providing a streamlined, searchable interface for customers.
How to set up Pory
Setting upPory requires integrating Airtable with Pory and embedding the directory into your chosen platform.
If you're unfamiliar with these tools, hiring a professional through platforms like Upwork can save you time.
As explained, I hired the person who already set up his own Pory site and had him hop on a Zoom call with me and walk me through the process.

I personally paid $18/month to Pory.
The price has since increased (I've been a customer for years).
Affiliate Program
Pory does not have an affiliate program at this time.
